A&G’s Mobile Stü: Black With Blue Wins the Shorty Social Good Award for Best in Social Justice

Today, Allen & Gerritsen announced that its philanthropic community initiative Mobile Stü: Black With Blue, which brought together inner-city youth and Boston Police officers to create mutual respect through rap music, last night won the Shorty Social Good Award for Best in Social Justice.
Mobile Stü: Black With Blue was actually a co-winner–with none other than “Fearless Girl,” one of the year’s most celebrated advertising campaigns. Mobile Stü and Fearless Girl bested Upworthy, YouTube and FleishmanHillard in the Social Justice category.
The prestigious Shorty Social Good Award for Best in Social Justice honors a program, project or initiative that seeks to address and dismantle systemic structural and interpersonal inequities based on race, class, gender, sexual orientation, age and ability status.
