A&G’s New Third Space Studios Fills A Community Gap

10.17.24

The agency’s new production studio, open to the community, makes quality creative possible for all - including small nonprofits like The Wonderfund

BOSTON AND PHILADELPHIA – October 17, 2024 – A&G’s (Allen & Gerritsen) new Third Space Studios is not just a full-service production offering for the creative agency. It’s filling a gap in the community by making a complete video and production facility (live-action studio, production extension, editorial & motion, and audio services for podcasting, voice-over and online audio) available to all. Larger organizations like Blue Cross Blue Shield Massachusetts and Meet Boston, individuals like creators and collaborators, and nonprofits like the Boston Symphony Orchestra and The Wonderfund are already accessing both the space and the affordable creative and production support that comes with it. The Wonderfund has even tapped the studio for an entire brand relaunch.

The studio is an extension of A&G’s Third Space, a new concept the agency opened in Boston and Philadelphia last year to give employees, clients, creators, and even startup incubators (Boston currently has two) a place to gather, dream, and innovate in comfortable surroundings. Located inside its Boston location (125 High Street), Third Space Studios is available to the Tishman Speyer building’s tenants who can use its ZO building app to request studio services ranging from studio rentals to co-creation to full-service production. Other businesses nationwide can request services through the studio website. Albolene, Certain Dri, and ThermaCare are examples of national clients that have utilized Third Space Studios for social and creator relations content.

“Operating as an independent studio inside the four walls of an agency has opened the door to clients we may never have come across otherwise,” says Andrew Graff, Chief Executive Officer of A&G. “The best example so far is the work we’ve been able to do with Wonderfund, an incredible nonprofit local to Boston that we’ve been able to make a big impact with.”

The Wonderfund, a non-profit organization that works on behalf of the 53,000 children engaged with the MA Department of Children & Families, partnered with A&G and Third Space Studios to refresh the organization’s brand story through a compelling brand video that communicates its impact in providing comfort, dignity, and choice to children who have been impacted by abuse and neglect. “Shut Off” was concepted around insights that childhood abuse and trauma aren’t just devastating in the moment; it also shuts off children from the world, themselves, and even their future. Through this new film that highlights stories of kids impacted by the organization, The Wonderfund hopes to attract more donors and engagement in their programs.

“Because of A&G’s studio and talented team, we are now able to take our message a giant leap forward and do something compelling and creative we wouldn’t have otherwise been able to do,” says Lauren Baker, Founder and CEO of The Wonderfund. “This work grabs your heart and twists it around then makes you feel better with the solutions thanks to The Wonderfund.”
